Knellwood is comprehensively equipped with all that is needed to promote a first-class quality of life including passenger lifts, hoists and specialist baths on every floor. The in-house laundry provides a friendly, prompt and personal service for our residents.

Our beautiful secluded landscaped gardens with paved patio area, flower beds and benches are ideal for a stroll or just sitting and relaxing in warmer weather.

We value the importance of ensuring that not just the care needs of each resident are met, but also their social, cultural, religious, spiritual and psychological needs as well. We actively encourage our residents to be fully involved, wherever possible, with their own care-planning using a fully holistic approach.

We offer a full programme of activities which includes craft, exercise and musical afternoons. Visiting hairdressers, chiropodists, physiotherapists and the local doctors are in regular attendance, and assistance is given with full respect to individual religious requirements.

We also maintain strong links with the local community. Visitors are always warmly welcomed and our residents are encouraged where possible to continue to pursue social interests outside the home.

Residents enjoy a nutritious and varied menu using fresh local produce wherever possible. All our food is home cooked and we cater for all special dietary requirements.

TV and telephone points are in every room. Wifi is available in all public rooms and in residents’ rooms by arrangement.
